Hi there— I’m Lis Vila Rosas, digital media specialist with a deep passion for crafting visually captivating campaigns. With a formal education in anthropological linguistics and digital humanities, my approach seamlessly merges graphic design sensibilities with diversity and inclusive principles to redefine storytelling and create engaging, and human-centered content.

Beyond my work at the University of Helsinki, I’m also guided by a few other values and passion projects.

Took part in a research group at the University of Helsinki focused on examining how gender, society, and language interact by moving beyond traditional binary notions of gender and instead treating gender as a complex, socially shaped spectrum

Participated in group exhibitions with Latin American associations in Helsinki, including a textile art exhibition (December 2025), as well as multiple craft-based and visual arts projects.

Deeply involved in Helsinki’s queer community, from secret clubs to supporting and volunteering at events open to our community.
